Opening an account through Curve is a breeze! There’s a number of simple steps to follow, but the initial set up shouldn’t take longer than a few minutes.

1.  Install and open the Curve app.
    
2.  Enter your cell phone number.
    
3.  Choose your passcode.
    
4.  Fill in the necessary details (your full name, date of birth, email and social security number).
    
5.  Enter your physical address.
    
6.  At this stage we’ll need to verify your identity. You might have to send a valid, government-issued ID with your current address (such as a driver's license, state ID, or passport). This process is safe and your information will be encrypted, stored securely and used only to verify your identity.
    

*   Take a photo of the front of your valid ID, plus a selfie. 
    
*   Tap “Continue” to confirm you’re happy to proceed.
    

7.  The next step involves checking your eligibility for Curve. We’ll ask you for your annual income, and you will go through a soft credit pull. Curve cannot make credit decisions. All credit decisions are made by our lending partner. 
    
8.  If approved, Curve will then provide your credit information, if everything looks okay you’ll be asked to read and accept our Terms & Conditions. 
    
9.  Start spending\*! You will have immediate access to your virtual Curve Card.
    

\*If you’d like to use the All in One Feature, you’ll need to add and verify your first linked payment card.
